Does 3D areola tattooing hurt?
Many patients have reduced sensation following breast surgery or mastectomy. For those who do have sensation, topical numbing can be used to help keep you comfortable.

How long after breast surgery can I have my tattoo?
Generally, the area should be fully healed and your surgeon should clear you for tattooing. Timing varies depending on your reconstruction and healing.

Can you tattoo over scars?
Yes. Scar tissue is very common after breast reconstruction. Color, placement, dimension and shading can be designed to help visually soften and camouflage scarring.

Is areola tattooing only for women?
No. 3D areola and nipple tattooing is available to anyone who has experienced changes or loss of the areola following breast cancer, surgery, reconstruction, injury or other procedures. Every treatment is individually designed for your anatomy, skin tone and desired result.
