I’m Liza Donovan, a restorative and paramedical tattoo artist specializing in hyper-realistic 3D areola and nipple restoration.
My background spans more than 17 years in medical aesthetics, with extensive training in skin, laser, aesthetics and restorative tattooing. That experience taught me something that ultimately changed the direction of my work: the smallest details can have an enormous impact on how someone feels in their body.
Today, my primary focus is helping patients after breast surgery and reconstruction achieve a result that looks natural, intentional and uniquely theirs.
Every areola I create is individually designed around the person's anatomy, skin tone, scarring and surgical outcome. There is no template—because no two bodies, surgeries or stories are the same.

I came to restorative tattooing through the medical aesthetics world, but I stayed because of the people.
I've seen what happens when someone looks in the mirror after reconstruction and, for the first time in a long time, sees something that feels familiar again.
That's why I approach this work differently. Your appointment isn't rushed. We talk. We look at color, placement, symmetry and the details that matter to you. My job is not simply to tattoo an areola—it's to create something that belongs on your body.
